Project: the patterned room
About: I chose my arts award project to be based on interior design. I was lucky to be able to meet with Susi Bellamy who is a local interior designer and has her own business creating luxury furniture, over a video call and she spoke to me about how colour and patterns inspire her work. For my final piece I have created a mood board and a patterned inspired room in the style of Richard Hamilton.

This is my final piece called the patterned room, it’s a funky interior of a room that I created to be in the style of Richard Hamilton, who I was inspired by, I have also used the designs of Susi Bellamy in my room as well.
This is a mood board of Susi Bellamy’s patterns, I wanted to create these to showcase her work and style.
